Canada’s wireless carriers have announced the rollout of unlimited plans, allowing consumers to buy more than one device with the same monthly bill.
The federal government has said it’s also making plans available for the elderly, who might need the extra money.
But how much will it cost consumers?
That’s a big question mark for consumers and telecom experts.
The wireless industry is expected to release a report this week that’s expected to detail the impact of the new wireless plans.
Some consumers are concerned that they won’t be able to use their devices on their monthly bills.
“I’m very worried because it means my data and data caps are going to be gone for life,” said one woman who wanted to keep her plans secret.
“It’s just been a total disaster.”
