STARBUCKS has said it wants to “reinvent the customer experience” by launching a new service that would be similar to the online shop.
“We have a lot of customers who are really looking for a bit of help with things and just want to make sure they’re getting the most out of their experiences,” said Starbucks chief operating officer David Pogue.
Starbucks is also looking at expanding its coffee shop offerings to new markets and opening new stores in the US.
The company also said it was looking at introducing new coffee-making technologies to the coffee shop, and introducing new espresso-making technology to the barista line.
It was also keen to introduce more innovative new products, such as a new coffee machine.
Starbucks said it would be announcing a new product in the next few months.
Starbuck’s latest quarter also included an increase in revenue for the three months to March 31.
Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $3.97 per share on earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation.
