Lowes has made a number of changes to its website in response to the recent cyberattack, but it has been moving all its stores into a lowes store.com.
The move is designed to ensure that customers are able to find the product they are looking for, even if they have a problem with the retailer.
Lowes has already made this change for many of its online stores, but with the new Lowes.us store, customers will be able to get the product at lowesstore.com and be able search the store.
“As we have made clear in previous announcements, we are committed to providing our customers with the best and most secure online shopping experience possible,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
“We will continue to work with our partners to continue to ensure we provide our customers the best shopping experience.
In the coming days, we will update our store platform with a new experience.”
Lowes did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The move comes amid heightened cybersecurity concerns in the wake of the massive hack of Sony Pictures Entertainment, which left at least 14,000 people in the United States dead.
Earlier this month, Apple announced it was launching a new iPhone model, dubbed the iPhone X, that has a 5.7-inch screen and can support 4K video, and a new version of its iPhone app.
Apple has been pushing back on the idea that it’s trying to get in on the low-cost-boutique-shopping-adventure.
